Rural councilman wants Greenville County to stop new subdivisions for 6 months

GREENVILLE — Three weeks after Greenville County Council adopted new rules to guide how subdivisions can develop in unzoned areas of the county, one of the councilman opposed to those new rules asked the council to consider a six-month moratorium on new major subdivisions.
