Wild Side 2016 - Schedule

MAIN EVENT November 5, 2016: 5:00-9:00pm

Allow 10-15 minutes for the drive from the gate to the parking area at Hobcaw House.

Golden Eagle, Barred Owl and Swallow-tailed Kite ($2,500-5,000)

1:45 --- Cocktail Boat through Winyah to Hobcaw House will depart from Front Street as soon as sponsors have boarded the boat, but no later than 1:55.

2:00 --- Gates open, for guests driving to the event.

2:30 --- Center for Birds of Prey Flight Demo at Hobcaw House (Round 1).

3:00 --- Board van for guided tour of Bellefield House/Stables and Friendfield Village (60-75 min).

3:00 --- The first natural history boat tour will depart from Hobcaw House.

4:10 --- Center for Birds of Prey Flight Demo at Hobcaw House (Round 2).

Red-tailed Hawk and Black Vulture ($500-1,000)

3:30 --- Gates open.

4:10 --- Center for Birds of Prey Flight Demo at Hobcaw House (Round 2).

4:10 --- The second natural history boat tour will depart for Swallow-Tailed Kite and Red-Tailed Hawk Sponsors.

Peregrine Falcon ($250)

4:00 --- Gates open.

All Sponsors:

4:30 --- Reception with Jim Elliott and open house tour of Hobcaw House begins.

All Wild Side Attendees:

5:00 --- Gates open. Gates will be closed at 6:30, after which there will be no further admission to the event.

5:00-9:00 --- Bars open • Live Music by the Green Levels.

5:45 --- Sponsor reception closes and all guests assemble for guest speaker and announcements.

6:00-6:25 --- Presentation by Jim Elliott, introduced by Amy Armstrong.

6:25-6:30 --- Announcements by Amy Armstrong and the MC for the evening.

6:30 --- Food Stations open.

8:00-8:30 --- Silent auction tables will close by section.

8:30-9:00 --- Check out for all successful bidders of auction items.
