Wild Side 2018 - Schedule

MAIN EVENT November 3, 2018: 5:00-8:30pm

Allow 15-20 minutes for the drive from the gate to the parking area at Hobcaw House.

Sponsors Activities

1:30 --- Cocktail Boat through Winyah Bay to Hobcaw House will depart from Front Street as soon as sponsors have boarded the boat, but no later than 1:35 (Kemp’s Ridley, Loggerhead)

2:00 --- Hobcaw Gates open.

2:30 --- The first natural history boat tour will depart from Hobcaw House (Kemp’s Ridley, Loggerhead, Leatherback, Diamondback).

3:00 --- Nature talk with Richard Porcher outside Hobcaw House (Kemp’s Ridley, Loggerhead, Leatherback).

3:20 --- Board van for guided tour of Friendfield Village and Bellefield (60-75 min). (Kemp’s Ridley, Loggerhead).

3:30 --- The second natural history boat tour will depart (Kemp’s Ridley, Loggerhead, Leatherback, Diamondback).

4:00 --- Nature talk with Richard Porcher outside Hobcaw House (Kemp’s Ridley, Loggerhead, Leatherback).

4:15-5:45 --- Guided house tours of Hobcaw House (registered and confirmed guests only).

4:30 --- The last natural history boat tour will depart from Hobcaw House (Kemp’s Ridley, Loggerhead, Leatherback, Diamondback).

All Wild Side Attendees:

5:00 --- Gates open. Gates will be closed at 6:30, after which there will be no further admission to the event.

5:15-8:30 --- Bars open • Live Music by Island Jazz Quintet.

5:45 --- Sponsor reception closes and all guests assemble for guest speaker and announcements.

6:00-6:25 --- Presentation by Mary Alice Monroe, introduced by Amy Armstrong.

6:25-6:30 --- Announcements by Amy Armstrong and the MC for the evening.

6:30 --- Food Stations open.

7:30-8:00 --- Silent auction tables will close by section.

8:00-8:30 --- Check out for auction items.
