Celebrate Earth Day with friends, family or co-workers by cleaning up this historic, urban wetland in downtown Charleston! We’ll gather and provide all supplies and instructions before setting out to clean up this important local waterway and surrounding roadways. Join staff and volunteers from the South Carolina Environmental Law Project, Friends of Gadsden Creek, Charleston Area Justice Ministry, local community and the South Carolina Aquarium for this annual cleanup event. We'll meet near the intersection of Hagood Avenue and Fishburne Street. Please arrive a few minutes early to park and get checked in. Be sure to wear closed-toed shoes or mud boots and bring a reusable water bottle.
