Carla Pinckney is a General Manager of Business Development in the Fuel Management Division of Delta Air Lines. Carla and her team are responsible for optimizing the Monroe Energy Refinery, a refinery owned by Delta Air Lines, and ensuring U.S. airports are supplied with jet fuel for Delta flights. Carla is an accomplished and results-driven leader with broadbased expertise spanning manufacturing, strategic planning, project management and business development delivering results in management roles within a large global airline, a large global energy company as well as a domestic energy company. She has expertise in leading teams of leaders in the implementation of strategies and projects focusing on securing improvements in sales and marketing, global and domestic strategy planning, business growth, and supply chain management. Prior to Delta Air Lines, Carla had positions of increasing responsibility at BP and Colonial Pipeline Company.

Carla graduated from Yale University with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and from the Yale School of Management with an M.B.A. in Finance and Strategy.

She was born and raised in the Ten Mile Community in Awendaw, SC.
