Cynthia Powell is an entrepreneur and lifelong conservationist. She is the Coordinator for Senior Golfers of America (SGA), and served as the Chair of the Winyah Group of the South Carolina Sierra Club at the same time Amy was on the executive committee. Cynthia proactively planned fundraising events and programs to encourage biking, recreation and conservation. She gathered over 2,000 signatures in order to protest billboard construction on Highway 22 in Myrtle Beach. Cynthia received her B.A. in Education from USC and her Masters in Education from Winthrop University.
