For decades, the former Georgetown Steel and International Paper sites have shaped our community. Now, River Development is proposing a major, and much-needed, cleanup and redevelopment of both of these long-contaminated industrial properties. Meanwhile, Liberty Steel has canceled its sales contract because of holdups in the City's rezoning process, putting the steel mill cleanup in jeopardy.
