Bess Dargan Lochocki is a practicing attorney and founder of Waccamaw Law, a civil litigation firm in Pawleys Island. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the Charleston School of Law. In law school Bess served as the president of the student organization Women in Law and editor-in-chief of MALABU Maritime Law Bulletin.

Bess is a South Carolina native with deep familial roots in the Pee Dee area. Along with SCELP, she is proud to contribute to her community through leadership roles with Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church in Pawleys Island and Amazing Journey, Inc., the non-profit serving the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Reentry Services for inmates.
